Checktiv vs Autohost: two ways to buy from one company, ID verification at $0.75 a check

Screening for guests and tenants, sold per person screened and priced per check. It is a brand of Autohost, and the Autohost pricing page introduces it there in its own words: "Meet Checktiv, self-serve guest verification & SDK by Autohost. Skip the sales call and start today."

If you want implementation done for you, or a named person on the account, buy Autohost. If procurement needs a quote before anything runs, buy Autohost. If none of the five is true of you, buy Checktiv.

No. Checktiv does not sell a credit report, and there is no setting that produces one. Autohost publishes a Credit History module, so that is the product to buy.

No. Autohost publishes a Sex Offenders module with its own published band per verification, so buy it there. Here, those records surface inside a screening result rather than as a separate purchase, so there is nothing to put on a purchase order as its own line.

Not here. Every Checktiv figure is the published one and there is no rate card to negotiate against. Autohost publishes volume discounts reached through its team, reduced rates as verification volume increases, so at real volume an Autohost rate can land below our published one.

Not here. You build Checktiv against the API reference and the SDK, and support is not a person assigned to your account. Autohost's plans list an implementation fee and a dedicated customer success manager, so if you want the work done for you and a name to call, that is the product.

On the Autohost side, five of its six product tabs publish a band per verification, under its own note that pricing applies to SDK implementation and varies based on volume. Its plan table names a platform fee, an implementation fee and a dedicated customer success manager and puts an amount against none of the three, so ask for those three when you speak to them.

Not directly. Their figures are bands per verification that move with volume, and ours are one fixed figure per check. Neither converts into the other without your own check mix and your own volume. The US and the EU are separate regions, and data for an EU customer stays in the EU one. There is no copying between them, and every applicant record is encrypted at rest under a key held for that one customer.

Checktiv is SOC 2 Type II certified. The report goes out under an NDA, so ask us for it and we will send it. The Autohost pricing page states "Secure & Compliant Platform (SOC 2, GDPR)".
